EatWell is a Figma-designed app that helps users create healthy, balanced meals using the ingredients they already have at home. The app is aimed at busy individuals who want to eat nutritious meals without spending time planning or shopping for extra ingredients. Users simply input what’s available in their fridge or pantry, and EatWell suggests combinations for balanced plates. Ingredients are categorized into carbs, proteins, veggies, and fats to make meal building clear and intuitive, ensuring every meal is well-rounded and easy to prepare. The design focuses on simplicity, quick navigation, and providing users with practical guidance to make healthy eating effortless.
Working on EatWell taught me the importance of designing for real-life usability and everyday needs. I learned how to prioritize clarity and information hierarchy, making the app intuitive even for first-time users. If I were to revisit the project, I’d focus more on personalized meal recommendations, test alternative ways to display ingredient suggestions, and refine micro-interactions to make the experience feel more engaging and interactive. Overall, the project strengthened my skills in user-centered design, prototyping in Figma, and translating practical needs into a functional, user-friendly app.
